在人工氣候培養室內,能模擬低溫環境條件進行種子貯藏。國外把水稻品種資源種子,保持種子含水量為6%,在一10℃的低溫下貯藏,種子保存可達772年之久,.采用這種貯藏法,不僅能減少品種資源材料的種植次數,且可長期保持種質原有的遺傳性,為培育優良品種提供了有利的保證。
